Welcome to the IKSAC web site. Our club was founded over 30 years ago by like minded people who love the underwater world of SCUBA Diving.
We meet at Kimberley Leisure Center on Newdigate Road, Kimberley on the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire border at 9.00pm on Friday nights.
To arrange a try dive or for any other general enquiries about our club then call 0115 9141290 and talk to our try dive coordinator, alternatively e-mail thepetegsmith@hotmail.com or look up other members on the club contacts page. Try dives are £5 each, you can have five sessions, if you decide to join us we will refund the money against your membership fee.
We are affiliated with the Sub Aqua Association and are a club with over 40 members, family memberships are available and recommended as we are a family & social club.
Annual fees £100 single member
£150 family member including children up to 18 years of age living under the same roof.
Spouses / Children are welcomed and encouraged to dive. (Children under 12 years are not allowed to dive). All family members are allowed to use the pool for swimming and snorkelling.

Maldives
We had a great holiday on Vilamendhoo where 28 of us spent a glorious week or two basking in the delights
of this tropical island on Ari Atol in the Indian ocean. We flew to Mali from Gatwick and then had to transfer by seaplane to our island measuring only 900 metres by 500. The island came complete with its own house reef and we could just dive in whenever and wherever we felt like. Just put your name on the board and your dive tank regs jacket and weights were delivered to your nominated point of entry. The diving was really colourful and night dives quite spectacular. Many varieties of fish and some very interesting starfish. On our boat trips we saw a whale shark, turtles, various other sharks and rays including a manta. A choice of bars to decompress in and the food and accommodation was superb. A dream of a dive trip.
